Influenced by artists like Mk.gee, Sam Cooke, Khruangbin, Nick Hakim, and Frank Ocean, Olson builds atmosphere as much as melody. His guitar work drifts and swells, giving space for groove and mood to lead the way.

A familiar face around the Black Hills music scene, Olson regularly performs in Spearfish, Sturgis, and beyond, with past shows at venues like the Matthews Opera House, Creekside Bean & Vine, The Custer Beacon, and Iron Phnx. Mentored by fellow musician Chris Huisenga, he has steadily carved out a sound that feels both intimate and expansive.
