SDHSAA All State Band Concert

The South Dakota High School Activities Association’s All-State Band Concert brings together talented student musicians from across the state for a culminating performance of its All-State Band program. Students who auditioned and were selected have spent the weekend rehearsing under guest conductors, and on March 28 they share the results of that work in a full ensemble concert featuring advanced band literature and collaborative musicianship. This annual event celebrates excellence in school music programs and showcases the skill, discipline, and artistry of South Dakota’s top high school instrumentalists.

This performance is part of the SDHSAA All-State Band activities taking place in Rapid City during the last weekend of March, including rehearsals earlier in the week.
