Middle School Art Show

The Dahl Arts Center hosts this year’s Middle School Art Show, featuring work from Rapid City area middle school students. On display in the Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café & Gallery, the exhibition highlights paintings, drawings, sculpture, and mixed-media pieces created by students from West, South, Southwest, St. Thomas More, North, and East Middle Schools. The show reflects the range of ideas, techniques, and creative voices emerging from local classrooms. Awards include Teacher’s Choice, People’s Choice, and Certificates of Appreciation. Visitors are encouraged to cast a vote for their favorite piece during the exhibition.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, March 5 from 5–7 PM. The event is free and open to the public, with light refreshments served.

The show is part of the Dahl’s Emerging Visual Artists program, which provides young artists with experience exhibiting in a professional gallery setting.
