Mark Zimmerman

Mark Zimmerman searches the open spaces of the high plains for inspiration, journeys into the mountains for thin air, and the badlands for solace, producing abstract paintings and drawings that seek to capture the essence of Western landscapes. He searches the landscapes of the heart to write prose and poems. Mark earned a BFA and a master’s degree in printmaking, as well as an MFA in painting and drawing.
