My Second Rodeo

My Second Rodeo is a Black Hills rock band blending classic rock songwriting with a modern bar-band energy, built around both original material and crowd-ready covers. The group features Garrett Holtz (bass), Jackson Guthmiller (drums), Cody Neeb (keys, piano, lead vocals), and Jason Guthmiller (guitar).

Their sound leans more rock than traditional country, pulling influence from the melodic, hook-driven style of ‘60s and ‘70s rock and pop while still fitting naturally into the Black Hills live music circuit. That mix shows up clearly on their debut album Breaking All The Mules, a project that marked a shift from local favorite to a band with a defined original catalog.
