Tables stack up along the street, people drift in from Main, and by the time the first set starts, the whole block has a rhythm to it. That’s what the Murphy’s Patio Series has turned into over the years. Not just a run of shows, but a steady place to land when the weather’s good and you’re looking for live music.

Running from late May through September, the series brings a rotating mix of local bands, regional acts, and a few names passing through, all set against the backdrop of one of downtown’s busiest corners. You’ll see familiar artists come through more than once, newer acts finding their footing, and occasional one-off bookings that pull a bigger crowd than usual.

The lineup leans wide. Full bands, stripped-down sets, soul, country, rock, and everything in between. Some nights feel like a neighborhood hang, others spill out into something bigger depending on who’s on stage.

Murphy’s has been doing this long enough that the format works. Show up, grab a drink, find a spot if you can, and stay as long as the night holds.
