Mystery Mountain Summer Friday Night Music Series
Friday evenings at HTR Black Hills start filling in as people pull up chairs near the Mystery Mountain Stage and settle in under the pines.
The Mystery Mountain Summer Friday Night Music Series runs weekly from late May through early September, with live music from 6 to 8 PM just off Highway 16 past Bear Country. The lineup rotates through local and regional performers, covering everything from country and folk to blues, rock, and stripped-down acoustic sets.
The setting stays consistent from week to week. Campers walk over from their sites, locals drift in for the evening, and the crowd builds gradually around the stage. Some people stay for the full set, others come and go, but the rhythm holds. Music starts at six, the sun drops behind the trees, and the stage carries the night until dark.
It’s free to attend, with space to bring chairs, grab a drink, and settle in without much structure beyond the music itself.
