Addison Johnson

Addison Johnson takes the stage at Kickstands on May 9 with a solo acoustic set built around storytelling and traditional country roots. Based in Nashville and originally from North Carolina, his songs pull from personal experience and the people and places he’s encountered along the way.

Influenced by artists like George Jones, Jerry Reed, and Jim Croce, Johnson’s sound sits somewhere between country and Americana without fully settling into either. His live shows lean into that balance, keeping the focus on songwriting and connection with the room.
