The Sergeant Colton Levi Derr Foundation presents the 13th Annual Gallantly Forward Gala on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at The Monument in Rapid City.

Featured speaker Benjamin Sledge is a wounded Iraq and Afghanistan combat veteran, Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient, and author of “Where Cowards Go to Die.”

The evening also features dinner, silent and live auctions, and a closing performance by The Starfellows — “2 Brothers, 1 Piano.”
Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the program beginning at 5:45 p.m.

Proceeds support the Sergeant Colton Levi Derr Foundation’s mission of veteran advocacy, assistance, PTSD/TBI awareness, suicide prevention, and veteran-focused programs.
