Josh Meloy brings a Red Dirt–leaning country sound shaped by his roots in Oklahoma and years spent working through dive bars before landing on larger stages like the Ryman Auditorium. A songwriter first, his music centers on place, memory, and the kind of stories that come from living close to them.

He got his start in Stillwater, writing songs while living in a camper and building from the local scene that’s produced names like Cross Canadian Ragweed and Jason Boland. Influenced by artists like Waylon Jennings, Chris Stapleton, and the Red Dirt tradition around him, Meloy’s sound pulls from multiple eras without settling into one lane.
