Minnesela

Minnesela returns to the Belle Fourche stage in a new production by Derek and Bob Olson. Originally produced in 2010, this original western comedy is inspired by the ghost town of Minnesela, the former county seat of Butte County before the rise of Belle Fourche. While rooted in local history, the story follows orphan Emma Williams as she journeys west in search of the legendary Tom Bragg and becomes caught up in outlaws, mistaken identities, and memorable frontier characters. Presented by Belle Fourche Area Community Theater, the production features a large local cast and runs approximately two hours including a 15-minute intermission.
