Opening Reception: Undone by Ryan Stander

Undone is a photographic exhibition by Minot State University artist Ryan Stander that confronts profound and often unseen realities of bodily and health trauma. In 2022, Stander was diagnosed with a massive tumor in his chest, initiating months of invasive testing and culminating in a life-saving surgery. This process left an enduring psychological and emotional imprint on Stander. The exhibition consists of wet-plate collodion self-portraits.
