Soulful Sounds in Rapid City

New York–based duo Acute Inflections brings an evening of jazz, R&B, and lighthearted comedy to the Dahl Arts Center on Saturday, June 27 at 7:00 PM. Known for blending classic jazz influences with modern soul, the pair draws inspiration from artists like Billie Holiday and Erykah Badu while adding their own contemporary style.

Their performances combine live music with conversational storytelling and humor, creating an intimate, cabaret-style experience. The show leans into a Harlem Renaissance–inspired atmosphere, with a focus on strong vocals, upright bass, and the natural chemistry between the performers.

Presented in the Dahl’s theatre setting, the event offers a seated listening experience with drinks available for purchase and complimentary snacks provided. Doors open one hour before the performance.
