United in Song – All City Music Festival

More than 450 Rapid City Area Schools middle school choir students take the stage for the annual United in Song All City Music Festival, part of Music in Our Schools Month.

This collaborative performance brings together choirs from across the district for an evening of large-scale ensemble singing in a professional theatre setting. The concert reflects months of preparation and focuses on musical literacy, listening skills, theory, and performance technique, while giving students the experience of working as one unified ensemble.

United in Song celebrates the role of music education in building confidence, discipline, and artistic growth, offering families and community members the opportunity to hear the next generation of vocalists in a full concert setting.
