Jalan Crossland Under the Black Hills Sky

June 26, 2026 6:00 pm
The Prairie Dog Taproom HIll City

Wyoming’s own Jalan Crossland brings his one-of-a-kind blend of Americana, bluegrass, storytelling, and world-class guitar picking to The Prairie Dog Taproom. 🪕

Raised in Ten Sleep and celebrated across the West for his wild humor, clever lyrics, and jaw-dropping musicianship, Jalan has earned the prestigious Wyoming’s Governor’s Arts Award and a reputation as one of the region’s true original voices.

Songs about roughnecks, mountain towns, heartbreak, bad decisions, and the strange beauty of western life come alive with blazing banjo runs, gravely vocals, and a live performance that feels raw, real, and unmistakably western.

This is authentic Wyoming music from an artist who’s often called “a Wyoming treasure.” Join us for a special night of high-plains Americana under the lights at The Prairie Dog Taproom.
Opening the night is the venerable BW Buzz Band — Rapid City’s enduring western swing band, who’ve been playing as a group since the ’70s. 🎶
